I honestly cannot stress this enough but please start living & enjoying your life. Your life is passing by daily and all you’re doing is working, paying bills, & overthinking stuff you can't change. Start taking trips and treating yourself. Have fun with this life. You only get 1
What a privilege it is to afford a gym, buy healthy food, pay bills, have legs that walk, eyes that see, a brain that functions, work every day, and take our bodies to their full potential.
A slow life is intentional. You don't force, you flow. Doing things that make you feel calm. You stop chasing people, trends, and timelines that don’t feel right in your heart. You become more honest about who you are. What you want. What you no longer want. You stop trying to impress people who don’t even understand you. You stop performing. You stop feeling like you need to prove your worth. A slow life is a life that expands what you already are. A life that fits your soul, not a trend.
I’ve realized I don’t want a loud life. I don’t want constant plans, noise, pressure, chaos. I want a slow life. Quiet mornings, slower days, and people I can fully be myself around. I want evenings where I can sit alone in silence and not feel guilty for it. A lot of us are exhausted from escaping ourselves. We fill every empty moment with scrolling, noise, we have forgotten how to just be. To live at your own pace, without feeling like every second has to be "productive". I want a slow life. A simple life. A life of meaningful. And purpose. To some, it may sound boring. But to me, it sounds like freedom.
a youtuber i follow just posted this video showing how many negative pregnancy tests she’s gotten and for the last couple months a lot of her audience has been speculating pregnancy
yeah so…this is why you don’t do that
In case you missed it, Chevrolet released a Christmas ad this season that will give you chills from start to finish.
An absolute must-watch.
Every second reminds you why family is everything…
“Babe, want to go out for dinner? Where do you want to go? Can you call a babysitter?”
> Weak. Passive. Your wife doesn’t want a homework assignment.
“Dinner reservation at 7:30. Babysitter’s on the way. Here’s a martini to drink while you get ready.”
> You are a gladiator entering the coliseum, a Spartan general leading your men across the battlefield. Bold. Decisive. A man of action. A champion.
Getting a wife is very powerful because you get a personal psychic that will tell you things like “your keys are in the gray pants in the hamper” and “he will ultimately betray you.”
i saw a TikTok about a girl saying how she doesn't stay mad for long because either she's going to figure it out, or there's nothing that can be done about it. and as simple as that sounds is as simple as it is really
Ladies. . . I don’t know who needs to hear this but just remember there are real loving men out here. Men who will take their time with you. Men who will sit and listen while you express what’s on your mind instead of brushing it off. Men who know how to take accountability and hold real conversations without getting defensive. Men who are aware enough to understand how their actions affect you and actually want to grow through it with you. Men that will make you feel appreciated without you having to beg for the bare minimum. You don’t have to settle or tolerate anything less than what you deserve. Love doesn’t have to be complicated and it’s out there.
I have a man who makes sure I know that I am his dream girl every single day.
He has no desire to humble me, he only ever wants to make my life easier. He builds me up, fills me with self assurance, and shows how much he values me every day. He doesn’t leave a doubt in my mind that I am all he wants.
Here’s the thing though. I don’t WANT to look 23 when I’m almost 70. Genuinely. I really truly don’t.
I am not so immune to vanity that I don’t wish to stay beautiful, but hotness doesn’t interest me. There is a type of beauty that says, “Everything is alright here, and I love you.” And anyone who has loved a grandparent knows this.
I want to be soft, okay?? I want to embody every shred of wisdom I have wrestled out of life. I want the warmth of all the years I have lived to show around my eyes when I smile at the 23 year olds.
If they felt in the slightest way that I were trying to compete with them, I would have departed sorely from where I aim to go.
Absolutely not. I want to be saying things like “come sit by the garden with me and tell me what’s worrying you” because I remember *being* twenty three.
I hope I tend to myself well because I hope that for every woman, but I don’t want to miss out on my turn to be old, either.
