Any event is either caused or not. This is a logical dichotomy. Humans are subject to logic.
The definition is that: P could have chosen differently in same exact circumstances and of his own accord.
That is logically impossible: because we'd ask is there a reason? If yes, then it's not the same circumstances and contradicts the definition and if no, it's random and contradicts the definition.

Or just from the caused-uncaused dichotomy. We are natural biological beings. Everything that happens in our brain is a natural causal-process. There are no magical first-cause (uncaused) creating abilities. Nature is a web woven with cause& effect.
