My Dad served meritoriously and retired with no single blemish on his records, no single query of wrong doing in the civil service of Ogun State and he challenged me to do same in my career. My mom taught me never to take what doesn't belong to me, taught me compassion and kindness.

I grew up with integrity and accountability, and then you came my way to steady my path as a guiding light in the over 10years of my professional career, you gave me hope that I can as well venture into politics when the time is right or the need arises and still come out clean the way I'd enter ( that's the acceptable minimum).

You may not know what you've done to me, you have consolidated my upbringing with your consistent values, and like you Sir, I made bold to say that as of today Sept. 15th 2026 so far in my career across all the organization I've worked for; from field sales, to credit officer, to Branch Manager with approval rights, handling cash and people's funds, to field recovery, loan-work-out and capital preservation exposure and huge payment negotiations in environment with weak internal controls( I plug the holes instead, I never exploited them), to contracting and portfolio Management of over $5m, to vendor management and partners engagement, to contracting external agents, to linking people with opportunities (that I have never requested or accepted a thank you gift of any kind) and letting the system determine their eligibility, to never having to offer or accepted a bribe in any form or through anyone affiliated to me or to use my access to curry undue or questionable favor to myself or any affiliate to date! Go and verify!

In many cases, I pause and ask myself, what will Peter Obi do in these instances? Then I go about it the right way!

I owe it to God!
I owe it to my Parent for the proper upbringing.
I owe it to my self; for I'm already passing on same to my 2 Sons Cristiano and Petros(Peter).
