Cybersecurity Analyst (IAM and GRC). I help keep private data, private. It's a tough job, but someone has to stop you from making your pet's name your password
Hi X,
I’m Burma.
I think a lot about a lot and I’ll be sharing some of those thoughts here moving forward.. on Faith, Leadership, Cybersecurity, Investment and Life in general.
If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, pull up a chair ✌🏾… if it doesn’t, still 🪑😂
Most People that @Azure Microsoft’s Azure tools can only be used for ghe Azure platform .
Well that’s not always the case ..
A good example is their CSPM/CNAPP tool Defender for Cloud.
It is cloud agnostic and can be used other major CSP,s lie AWS and GCP as well.
😀😀😀

It is absolutely exhausting and heartbreaking that we have to keep having this same conversation.
A woman’s body is not public property. There is no outfit, no location, and no situation that makes rape okay.
But beyond the anger we feel today, we need to talk about the lifelong trauma victims are forced to carry. Long after this stops trending, survivors are left battling PTSD, anxiety, and unseen scars. Many suffer in silence because they are terrified of a society that will ask them what they were wearing rather than holding the perpetrator accountable.
Every single survivor of sexual assault deserves absolute justice and a safe space to heal without judgment. The perpetrator belongs behind bars, but as a society, we also need to do better at protecting our women.
I am sending her, and every other survivor out there my support. I hope she gets all the medical and psychological support she needs right now.
There’s always three sides to every story —
Party 1, party 2 and the “whole truth”. People always tell the story to Favour themselves. Sometimes intentionally, sometimes subconsciously. And they’d call it “my story” 😊
Just try to extend grace to everyone.
Python is a great skill to have I agree…However this topic is way more nuanced than this post ..
There a whole lot of other roles in CYBERSEC that would never involve coding or automation of any sort talk more of python as a cores skill.
You would most likely only require python in some sort of security engineering role and even at that not all security engineering roles require python ..
There are a lot of other IAC tools like terraform ,bicep ,etc which most security engineers can use to do their job.
So unless you are building some sort of internal software or tool that requires core coding languages (which python is not the only one)or have a legacy app that’s already built on python and you want to add new security features you most likely don’t need python ..
Udara(Agbalumo) - My favorite experience when eating it, is when I encounter a seed sack that has no seed in it (IYKYK)…
But funny how what the fruit would consider barrenness in some way, is what gives me the utmost joy when having the fruit.
I’ll start my response with something my mentor always says “AI won’t replace you but people who can use AI will “
Now answering the question in order
>As long as technology exists cybersecurity will never reach a point where it’ll never be needed
>AI development doesn’t shorten the need for cybersecurity… in a real sense it actually does the opposite… it increases the attack surface because believe it or not AI is a manufactured technology that can also be manipulated or hacked
So increase in AI development = More security needed
That aside, AI doesn’t eliminate misconfigurations, poor access control, weak passwords, insider threats, or social engineering. Most breaches still succeed because someone clicked, reused credentials, or trusted the wrong thing (bummer )
Cybersecurity roles will forever evolve not disappear….now referencing my starting statement
The cybersecurity professionals that’ll stay relevant are those smart enough to use AI not as a replacement but as a tool that it is meant to be
I hope this helps
You welcome
Cloud security policies aren’t bureaucracy.
They’re the guardrails that decide: who gets access, what’s allowed, and what’s blocked by default.
Without them, security becomes guesswork. With them, security scales.

Hello Cyber friends, if you are just starting your Cybersecurity journey, I strongly recommend joining communities that can support your learning and career growth.
Being part of the right community gives you access to guidance, shared resources, and people who genuinely want to see you succeed.
Here are some communities that have supported many people on their journey 👇🏾
@Cyblackorg@DoHAfrica@cyberexpertsng@CYSECNG Guardians of the Cyber Realm by @cyberjeremiah
Women Focused communities
Cybergirls by @cybersafehq@WicysNigeria@she_secures Girls in Security Operations Community (on LinkedIn)
I particularly love the mechanics of social engineering, because it plays with human psychology.
Simply put, it’s mind hacking and I find it intriguing.
The future of security won’t just recognize your face or fingerprint.
It will recognize your rhythm.
And that’s a much harder thing to steal.
Hope you’ve learnt something useful today ✌🏾
Was doing a quick study this evening and I thought to share what I learnt with you… Oya collect 🪑
So, identity management is a big deal in security for many reasons, but at the core of it, is a question of “TRUST”.
One of the AI/ML solutions to this is “Behavioral Biometrics”
BUT here’s the tension:
Behavioral biometrics is powerful… and sensitive.
Without strong governance, it becomes surveillance.
With proper governance, it becomes protection.
This is a point where IAM and GRC, marry 😉😁
