I'm not a huge fan of Spence but the way he's being blamed for yesterday's goal is ridiculous. He had to make a choice of which unmarked player to pick and it was the correct one.

He also didn't have a poorer game than anyone else, in fact, better than some.

Saying Djed Spence can go forward and is good 1v1 offensively but is dodgy defensively and will be tested against the big nations…essentially suggesting he’s a luxury defender

When in reality, literally the opposite. Djed is class defensively, literally his biggest strength by far, but quite poor offensively and struggles with that.
