Necessitating the closure of the Boulevard at 96th and 87 Street.

West bound traffic along 87th street can proceed north again once they turn onto NE 2 Avenue.

Traffic may be a bit of an issue in El Portal along 87th Street tomorrow, Saturday 30 October, from 1430-1900. There is a demonstration scheduled at the archdiocese along the Boulevard and 94 Street in Miami Shores

To learn that the gun used to kill a police officer was taken in a car burglary is beyond appalling. I am incensed.

Responsible gun ownership means exactly that. A car is not a damn gun safe!

This is the person who shot at my officers early this morning after he burglarized a house in EP.

He needs to be removed off the street.

One must prudently assume all offenders, lurking in the middle of the night, either on foot or in a vehicle, are armed.
