not enough people are talking about how i got you babe is the perfect set up for the gay eddie episode bc what do u mean the person who wrote (in my opinion) the starting of gay eddie in season 9 is coming back

9x05- dia de los muertos — a true eddiesode in my opinion. they directly paralleled him to abigale and her losing her faith and her being shackled against her will. We also got the scene with him and abuela and her telling him he’s looking for love in the wrong place

9x10– handle with care — AGAIN another episode where we are discussing how eddie feels connected to abigale and her situation and he wants to be there for her. We also get the court scene of eddie being called an angry man but him keeping his cool because he’s NOT ANGRY ANYMORE. and quite literally, eddie not being interested in women AT ALL.

9x12 - dads and cads — which imo established how important buck is to the eddiechris dynamic. maddie went home to chim after dinner with her parents and buck went home to eddie and chris. it also established that bobby knew eddie was coming back and the buckleys divorce was literally only written for the fact of buck being able to compare it to when eddie went to texas.

now those are just all the episodes christopher wrote in season 9. i could easily deep dive all the episodes molly and james have wrote this season too.

aisha also talked about the elevator seen and wanted kenny to so badly say hen was good in elevators but was also quick to say we’d see who ISNT good in elevators. and they have been setting hen up to have that conversation with eddie this whole season, and it makes sense knowing she’s the only main cast member who understands what it is to not be able to live a heteronormative life.

AND ontop of all that we know that 9x17 was directed (or co directed) by michael schwartz, a queer director who focuses mostly on queer projects.

now if im wrong when time comes yall can all laugh in my face but idk i just have A Feeling. like gay eddie is literally coming

Something 100% shifted with Buddie in 9B bc in 9x16 they were ALWAYS paired together, especially during the kitchen scene they were constantly in frame together while Hen and Ravi were a normal distance away it literally feels like they’re soft launching them getting together
