Sounds crazy, right?

But here’s what people still haven’t understood about trading:

Your lifestyle doesn’t create your edge.

Your edge does.

Once you actually have an edge…

Your job becomes incredibly boring.

You mark your levels.

You establish your bias.

You wait.

You wait.

You wait.

Then your setup appears.

You execute.

Manage your risk.

Close the trade.

And go back to waiting.

That’s it.

A trader can have the “perfect” morning routine…

Wake up at 5AM.

Cold shower.

Meditate.

Run 10km.

Read 50 pages.

Journal for an hour.

…and still lose money.

Another trader can wake up at 11AM…

…and make $20,000 because he understands his market, his setup, his probability and his risk.

I’m not saying discipline doesn’t matter.

It matters enormously.

But stop confusing personal discipline with trading edge.

The biggest problem for most struggling traders isn’t masturbation.

It’s not Netflix.

It’s not waking up late.

It’s not even motivation.

They don’t have an edge.

So they keep searching.

New strategy.

New indicator.

New mentor.

New pair.

New timeframe.

New account.

New month.

Same result.

Find your edge first.

Then build the discipline required to execute it.

Because once you truly know what you’re waiting for…

you’ll spend most of your trading career doing something most beginners hate:

Nothing.

Waiting is the job.

Execution is the business.

The money comes from the edge.
