Our government has operated like a trust fund kid that never had to earn a dollar, doesn’t understand the value of money, and therefore wastes trillions of other peoples’ money until someday the trust fund goes dry.
@DOGE operates like a fiduciary where every dollar matters, working on behalf of American taxpayers to do what’s best for the country.
Thank you DOGE.
There's a shocking fact about AI that nobody tells you: You can catch up to the public AI research frontier in just 2 weeks. Yes, really.
I've built a $150M annual revenue startup over the last 8 years and If I were to start a company today, I’d drop everything and go all-in on AI.
But like many busy software builders, I felt lost—overwhelmed by the noisy, crowded and fast-moving modern AI landscape. And I wasn’t alone.
So I spent my entire holiday diving deep into AI research—reading 30+ papers, watching hours of lectures, analyzing trends, and catching up to the research frontier.
✨ Here’s what I learned:
- You don’t need months (or years) to catch up.
- You don’t need a PhD or decades of ML experience.
- You need fewer than 20 papers and 2 weeks to understand the major breakthroughs shaping AI today.
It's because the technology is extremely nascent and most techniques that came before are no longer relevant:
- ChatGPT is barely 2 years old and Transformers are only 7 years old.
- Most game-changing discoveries happened within the last 4 years, driven by a few breakthrough ideas, scaling laws, and efficient matrix multiplication.
The biggest secret?
Many groundbreaking AI papers with thousands of citations are surprisingly simple and applied, like adding "let's think step by step" to the prompt, or simply asking the LLM over and over again to improve its answer (Self-Refine).
I realized there are tons of founders and builders in the same boat—wanting to dive deeper into AI but unsure where to start.
I've created an essential AI Guide that helped me catch up, in just 2 weeks, to the frontier of public AI research to figure out where the next opportunities and gaps were:
- Curated list of only the most important papers
- Simple explanations of key concepts
- Clear pathway to understanding the frontier of modern AI
It’s perfect for:
- Founders expanding into AI
- Builders wanting to innovate at the frontier of AI
- Investors looking to separate the signal from the noise

LATEST: @GenesysGo reveals that 52TB of decentralized storage has been distributed across 335 nodes within hours of their latest mobile app update.
GenesysGo is building a decentralized storage network on @solana, powered by mobile technology.
I’m a Coinbase One member, which gives me access to a concierge service where I can reach out to a dedicated customer support rep whenever I need to.
Today, I called them to ask about improving Solana transaction times. I told them I pulled all my funds off Coinbase and that, unless this issue is addressed, I and many others will continue to do the same.
I respect @coinbase and what they’ve done for crypto, but it’s time to take action. I’m letting my money do the talking.
If you agree, retweet this and help push for Coinbase to be held accountable - NOW!
this is either not understanding how basic data works or willful misrepresentation
I won't assume either one and will refute the claim on its own merits instead
i) OP says Base is better for long-term tokens vs. Solana because
*checks notes*
tokens on Solana lose rankings faster than on Base — yet he doesn't normalize for the only metric to control for
the actual number of tokens or launches
Solana has significantly more launches per day, by an order of magnitude
this is like saying Zimbabwe has fewer failed businesses per year vs New York — and thus Zimbabwe is better for the long-term because they have less business overall
?
ok
ii) the above is already enough tenfold to debunk the entire premise, but let's have some fun
OP is determining long-term "health" based on
*checks notes*
24-hour volumes 😭
and then follows it up with a single tweet on 7-day metrics 😭
yes. wow, 24 hours. or an entire week. very long-term indeed
iii) "base is significantly more friendly to building communities and belief in projects"
since the data above is already false, this has no basis, but it's easy to disprove empirically regardless
go to coingecko, filter by mcap on the coins, and what do you see in the top 15?
Solana has 7 coins in there, Base has 1
if you expand a bit more and look at the top 5 on each chain — Base coins are ranked at 95, 373, 384, 522, 526
Solana? 62, 70, 126, 135, 141 — in fact, Solana has 13 (!) coins ranked higher before you even get to the number 2 rank on Base
mcap is not a perfect measure by any means either but the OP's entire premise is coins dying after 24h — if this is the case, then how did so many make it to the top rankings on mcap, especially relative to Base? because OP's analysis is flawed to begin with
ofc it's weird to talk about "long term" without talking about the tech here but I will simply omit that Solana does 10-20x the scale while maintaining lower median fees
<the end>
perhaps the above picture will change one day, that's possible, especially if we get complacent — but in the meantime, it is simply incorrect
build wherever serves your business needs the best, but make sure to understand the numbers

Introducing shdwDrive v2: A Thoughtful, Phased Rollout for a Better Experience
Today marks the beginning of shdwDrive v2's release!
We've chosen to implement a phased roll-out that moves us toward production-readiness through a deliberate, thoughtful approach. This strategy isn’t just about caution; it’s about delivering a meaningful and positive experience for shdwOperators, #Solana developers planning to use the shdwDrive platform, and the individual user!
The shdwDrive app is downloadable on any Android device and can be found here: https://t.co/31fdzg01eR
Simply follow the link on your Android device (iOS coming soon), allow the download, and that's it! You're ready to become a shdwOperator!
Why a Phased Rollout?
In network development, slow and steady wins the race. A phased rollout is an industry-standard best practice that gives the network time to stabilize. This ensures stability before introducing we introduce staking, rewards, and new tools. This measured rollout approach helps ensure that when you start staking $SHDW to contribute storage from your mobile devices and earn your portion of network generated fees—the experience is consistent, reliable, and free from the bugs that plagued participants in things like shdwDrive's Testnet2.
Staking & Initial Rewards: A Better Start
On January 6, barring no unforeseen issues, we’ll introduce shdwOperator staking, staking rewards distribution, and our CLI/SDK! We learned a lot from shdwDrive's Testnet2, where payout issues surfaced due to underlying network bugs. The goal of letting the network soak through the holidays before deploying shdwOperator staking & rewards is to ensure that shdwOperators have a consistent and reliable experience in the distribution of rewards. Even though shdwOperators aren't having to go out and rent expensive servers for an additional cost to themselves, we still want a much smoother experience than last time!
Similar to Testnet2, the GenesysGo team is donating SHDW tokens that we purchased in the open markets (just like anyone else would have to) as a gift to the early adopters who are helping to bootstrap the shdwDrive v2 network! Your help is incredibly valuable and want this experience to be meaningful for the community of shdwOperators while the rest of the payments infrastructure is finalized and new users come onboard.
***To earn shdwOperator rewards, you MUST actually BE a shdwOperator!***
Meaning, you must be contributing storage space from your mobile device and in order to do that you must be meeting the staking requirements. Stake SHDW -> Contribute storage -> Earn the gift of SHDW! Rewards are limited and not indefinite... and the staking mechanics is simple: the more SHDW you stake and the more uptime you accumulate (starting now!) the more gifts that are programmatically distributed to you by the Solana on-chain program that owns the staking vault. Meaning, gifts are first come, first served. The longer you are connected to the network, starting now, the better! And, thanks to shdwDrive v2's mobile device only architecture, becoming a shdwOperator is as simple as downloading the app and turning it on! Download, activate, set it and forget it, earn. It's that simple.
TL;DR - Staked SHDW + Uptime accumulated (staring now!) = a greater share of the pool!
Prioritizing Developers & Users
The goal of letting the network soak before deploying the CLI and SDK is similar. When the CLI and SDK are released, we want to be able to fully prioritize any issues or bugs that developers in the #Solana ecosystem report to us and fix them right away (rather than developers having to wait indeterminant amounts of time for bugs to be fixed). By waiting to roll out the CLI and SDK, we can focus on addressing bugs as they arise, ensuring developers have the tools they need without unnecessary delays.
Customer Payments and Decentralized Revenue Distribution
We heard your feedback with some of the less than smooth rollouts in the past and by implementing a more phased rollout for shdwDrive v2, this will give us the opportunity to ensure that you all get the user, operator, and developer experience you deserve.
The last thing we want is to have the launch of shdwDrive v2 marred by issues that affect paying customers or the operators earning their share of user generated revenues. Hence why we are gifting shdwOperators tokens in the meantime, to ensure they know how much we value their help! As soon as we feel confident that the network, the CLI/SDK, and the features of the app are in a solid place, we'll be updating the payment plans and the on-chain Solana programs needed to power customer payments and the trustless fully programmatic distribution of those payments to shdwOperators. In the meantime, customers will all have access to the lowest free tier of storage to begin using the app today!
Of course, that leaves the outstanding question of how does staking work when customer payments and programmatic revenue distributions work when they go live? For full information on the network's scaling and economics, please visit our shdwDrive v2 Economics Whitepaper here: https://t.co/AWIlelA9u7
App Store Listings!
App store listings are being processed and we are excited to say that the shdwDrive app will be listed on all three major app stores soon!
Continuous Improvements & Future Plans
Through all of these steps, minor feature upgrades and releases will be deployed just as soon as they are completed. However, once all of the above has been fully deployed in the near future, the team will be fully dedicated to feature updates and rolling out the litany of premium services planned for shdwDrive v2! We have a list of feature deployments that we are very excited about, ranging from multi-user file sharing/editing to platform integrations and everything in-between!
A Better Experience for Everyone
All of this is to say that we have listened to your feedback on past rollouts. This phased deployment is a strategic decision to ensure a seamless experience for everyone: users, operators, and developers alike. It's to ensure that all steps are forwards and none are backwards. The future of shdwDrive v2 and #DePIN is bright, and by taking things step-by-step, we’re ensuring that shdwOperators, users, developers, and all of #web3 are being given a platform built to last.
I love $SHDW but listen if you're a @GenesysGo supporter/holder you need to repost and comment to get exposure. I see so many posts with a bunch of likes and no reposts. We need to fix this.
This is 10B tech larping as a 170M coin. Be the engagement you know it deserves.
@The_LordRaven@GenesysGo $FIL fully diluted MKT Cap of $13B is a more apples to apples comparison as $SHDW is basically fully diluted save for a few straggling SSCs
#shdwDrive is uniquely positioned for to do this.
The framework for providing decentralized compute to power multi-node computations simultaneously—enabling AI models to train securely, collaboratively, and trustlessly—has already been built.
#Solana#AI#web3 $SHDW #DePIN
$SHDW isn’t just another token—it’s key to the #shdwDrive network’s goal of decentralizing the revenue hoarded by big tech cloud.
By staking their SHDW, operators activate their mobile devices as shdwNodes and earn based on network participation. #Solana#web3#DePIN
