Today, work has turned to the overbridge. Street lights fitted, a resistor panel and some paintwork carried out. The wiring from the light on the far side passes over the abutments and under the decking in a tube. The varying resistors allow the lights differing light outputs.

#ElbowLane Work on the background today but the most time consuming job was to cut down the height of the arches kits to match the road level of the bridge.. Considering it's all by Lcut Creative, you'd think they would make the heights match. They needed lowering by 18mm.
@ElbowLane00 Road bridge on the new extension is now ready to be held down by magnets for easy removal. Pieces of steel package banding strip glued underneath the board.
One of my pet hates is seeing tracks pass through a hole in the end of a board. I've toyed with another bridge (too much), a pipe bridge or a foot bridge. Here's what I managed made of it after some chopping, reversing and adding to supports.
