Democrats could legalize abortion TODAY.
Democrats could protect voting rights TODAY.
Democrats could pass common sense & constitutional gun reform TODAY.
Instead, we get nothing because of the filibuster, despite the majority of SCOTUS being confirmed by fewer than 60 votes
@dosssboss@ii_plump@KristenT12775@JohnKasich The Dodgers DO trade away their top prospects. And then they draft more. Consistently the best farm in baseball. And Dodgers don’t always win in free agency. They win way more than they lose, sure, but some guys would rather no lay elsewhere regardless of $.
@ii_plump@KristenT12775@JohnKasich Odd that you are threatened when a woman actually knows what she’s talking about regarding sports.
Dodgers always seem to have someone in the rookie of the year race.
Despite all the trades, Dodgers always seem to have the best farm system.
Why? Not money.
@Keith_McPherson Reports are, it was a little kid who thought that Sanchez was gesturing with his glove to throw him the ball. Your overreaction initially was bad enough. That you have left this post up despite the reality of this situation kind of means you are just a click bait hack.
@atrupar He only counts the $200 extra I put in MY tank.
But I have a wife and two teen drivers with cars. So that’s $800.
Plus the cost of everything we buy went up because of transportation costs and packaging costs.
This war has cost my family of 4 around $2000 so far.
@KeithandMovies@BNightengale Most likely, yes. Teams in the NBA MUST spend. They don’t have to let aging players block prospects though. For example, if the Rays were $20M below the floor, the Phillies could’ve traded them Nick Castellanos. The Rays could’ve then released him.
@CoryRossColeman@Acyn Not to mention, people are flying into New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta, and so on because that’s where the business is happening. That’s where the history is. That’s where the events are.
@FaithIronFit You’re pathetic. The band fell through. If anything, the Phillies caved to pathetic religious fanaticism by rushing a replacement once the bibles started thumping instead of sticking to the rescheduling. And worse, folks like YOU won’t even go; you just need validation 🤮
@ExplainingPhils Saw that. 🤷♂️
Also, while I too would rank Schmidt as Phillies greatest, what about Carlton?
At the time he retired, he was (depending on criteria) either the greatest, second greatest, or third greatest lefthanded pitcher in MLB history.
@Arhigose@philly_number Not nothing. Some lottery tickets, maybe? Appel was a reclamation project. Velasquez COULD have been a stud starter. He was the key piece. Eshelman and Oberholtzer were relievers the Phillies hoped they could improve. Giles really never repeated what he was here. We sold high.
@70_hookshot@LongTimeHistory Most common for marking the grass edges in winter for plowing.
People may install them (or, leave them up year round) if delivery people frequently run over the grass at the bottom of the driveway.
My guess is this woman was mad it is May and they were still up from winter.
@x_R3born_x@TheHost_ If this were really a ‘Pro Tip’ instead of an ‘ Idiot Observation’ you would know that many chains (like Pizza Hut, which YOU referenced) use DoorDash to deliver their food during periods of high volume. 🤷♂️
@FrankCianfrani I should clarify: The plan was always to address needs at the deadline.
That did not preclude making an offer to someone like Bichette if the market started to show he might be had on a shorter deal with higher AAV.
Right now, Bichette and Bohm have almost the same WAR 🤷♂️
@DougWahl1 It sounds to me like her 15 minutes of fame is about up, and she knows that if she spews insanity loud enough, her orange Messiah might invite her to the next State of the Union.
@radfugee@rrussell4031@AaronBlake When I worked in restaurants in the 1980’s, an “86 list” was a list of things to be thrown away at the end of the shift/week as they were reaching their expiration date. That fits the context of Comey’s post.
