Neo Geo MVS Pickups (Metal Slug X & Blazing Star) https://t.co/PxzqBPyxJE via @YouTube I am a big fan of the Neo Geo hardware and the games that came out for the system, especially the shoot-em-up titles. I have been slowly collecting MVS arcade cartridges as I come across them, and the game is one I would like to play. Recently, I found an old Facebook Marketplace listing with a number of titles still available for sale for very reasonable prices. R-Type for the MSX was enhanced for smooth scrolling (MSX2+) by Saeba Ryo.
I played and recorded it using openMSX 21.0.
Also applied the music detection patch created by Sharksym.

Here we have another addition to the arcade line-up, with a $100 Facebook Marketplace find, stored in the back of a shed for quite some time.
It is an original Leisure and Allied "Low Boy" cabinet, with a real Aero Fighters PCB. Of course, it was stored in the back of a shed, probably when it stopped working, so we have a few issues to work out and get it working.
