I figured out what happened. I was testing out the free version of Proton VPN which randomly connects you to a few servers, I left it on and twitter thought I was somewhere where I have to do age verification lol.

@TKarrde23 Unironically, I blame Toby Fox for this. He brought a lot of young, tumblr-fandom type eyes to Touhou. I'm sure plenty of them have gotten into it unconnected to that, but I doubt it helped.
