@JoePostingg The real question we need answered is did you properly write “login to” rather than “log into”
Obv “loginto” is unacceptable, but it highlights the issue.
Sadly you’re aware now and there is probably no solution.
@knowsthedj wages have not kept up with inflation so no that is not reasonable to assume. Workers should absolutely sandbag companies until this changes especially if they are non union.
@worldelk When I was taught realism in school I was always clear that boundaries need to be well understood before they can be challenged. I would accuse this artist of letting realism control their choices when it should be the other way around.
@JSlaughterEsq nbd as long as you’re aware that you are the odd man out here.
Much easier for me to trust someone who externalizes their passion than somebody who is too ashamed to admit their hobbies.
@Grimezsz@dash_eats I only have reason to believe consciousness is organic in nature. I sometimes feel like I’m missing something in these conversations because why would anything inorganic be capable of consciousness at all?
“Begging for forgiveness was out of character” people who say this truly took stun damage from this scene. The scene continues. Homelander tries to stand back up. “You can’t fucking do this.”
None of it was real. His death is not a rejected apology, it’s a rejected ideology.
The Homelander explores rejection in a lot of forms. His truest belief, that his own life transcends any other, is the root of the parental, social, and romantic rejection that defines his life.
and people still ask why fascists see themselves in him?
And of course they were upset at the finale! What do you mean Homelander isn’t offered redemption?
A truly terrifying thought for a fascist: Will I not be offered redemption?
Their feeling of entitlement toward forgiveness is fuel for further oppression.
