After more than 56 hours of continuous work in the rubble a rescue dog finally collapsed from exhaustion.

Haky a search and rescue dog from Tunisia labored without rest following a major earthquake. He helped locate 40 people who were still alive before his strength gave out.

For over two days he navigated piles of broken concrete dust and debris. Relying on his keen sense of smell he located survivors trapped under the wreckage.

Each alert he gave brought rescuers renewed hope. Every person found represented another miracle.

Once the operation concluded Haky lay down and slipped into a profound sleep. He had pushed his body to its absolute limit.

A photograph of the exhausted dog resting quickly circulated worldwide. It captured a moment of quiet heroism rather than dramatic action.

There were no medals or public celebrations. Only the image of a dedicated dog who continued until he could go no further.

This story serves as a powerful reminder. Heroes do not always wear capes or uniforms. Sometimes they simply have paws.

Dice was left behind in an abandoned house, surviving off scraps from kind neighbors. When our team found him, he was incredibly skinny and his skin was covered in ticks and fleas. We took him in and tried to get him adopted for over a month, but no one seemed interested. Then, Dr. Singha joined our vet team. After exactly two days on the job, he asked Niall if he could adopt Dice himself. Look at this handsome boy now. Congress has a chance to reform a massive Medicare loophole that’s letting tax exempt hospitals and clinics rip off American taxpayers and patients. The timing couldn't be more urgent after federal prosecutors just busted a $58 million fraud scheme in South Florida that shows exactly why this is long overdue.

A Haitian national ran two so-called "nonprofit" clinics — CMJ Health Group in Miami Gardens and The Proctor Medical Group in Pompano Beach — through the Drug Pricing Program, inventing fake patients, paying kickbacks, and writing fraudulent HIV prescriptions to loot $58 million from Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers

And where did the stolen money go? A Bentley Flying Spur, a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, a Mercedes G-Class AMG, and a $2.5 million mansion with a custom pool and spa, all bought on the backs of American taxpayers and the sick patients this program was supposed to help. This is what happens when the 340B Drug Pricing Program is left to police itself and clinics like these are permitted to game the system. Most of all, it is what happens when past administrations and Congress fail to address a problem.

The good news is that the Trump administration is taking fraud in the 340B program seriously by advancing a new program to make sure clinics like those in Florida – and hospitals – are using these funds to help real patients (a stark contrast to the Biden years, when this kind of scheme thrived unchecked).

That's what real enforcement looks like. @POTUS and his Justice Department deserve credit for pursuing this case with the urgency it demanded and for pushing for programs that will immediately close the loopholes that allow this fraud to exist in the first place.

Congress needs to catch up. Fortunately, members like @RepJasonSmith are leading the charge.

This last week, House Ways and Means marked up the "Tax Exempt Hospital Transparency Act," and took critical steps to start addressing the fraud with the Medicare, Medicaid, and 340B systems. As they continue to push policies that close these loopholes, they must ensure hospitals and clinics are held accountable.

The Trump DOJ proved the fraud is real. @WaysandMeansGOP, Chairman @RepJasonSmith are right to prioritize these reforms. The rest of Congress needs to take this seriously. It’s time for tax-exempt hospitals and clinics to be covered under any program or bill, full stop, because anything short of that is leaving a backdoor open for more fraud.

Get it right, or answer to your constituents as to why you're letting Haitian fraudsters continue to steal money from American taxpayers.

“I just got done taking my son to the doctor and they tried telling me at the front desk that I don't have access to his patient portal anymore because he just turned 13. Are you kidding me? He is under the age of 18. He is my child. I should have access to what his medical stuff is. That is insane to me”

This is real and because Democrats are trying to twine away parents rights from their own kids

Oregon Minor Consent Laws kick in, minors gain rights to confidential care in certain areas without parental knowledge or consent

- Age 14+: Can consent to outpatient mental health, drug and alcohol treatment
- Age 15+: Can consent to general medical, hospital, dental and surgical care
- Any age: Full confidentiality for reproductive health birth control, STI, HIV testing and treatment

Systems like MyChart and Epic often default to restricting or segmenting parental (“proxy”) access starting at age 13
