Mess of a travel day. After 3 delays the flight canceled. Ends with the @AmericanAir agent in Tampa giving me a hotel voucher with the wrong name on it and I was told I was unable to use. 45 minutes on hold before I gave up. What a mess! Weather is one thing. Service is another!

@AmtrakAlerts Received and eventually someone alerted us prior to moving again. The delay hasn’t been well received as we left FL 15 minutes early and approaching 5 hours delay. Haven’t had a pleasant experience going down the FL or heading back.

@AmtrakAlerts can someone tell us the status on why Auto Train 52 stopped? Some announcement was muffled and low on the speaker and we have not had any type of conductor or attendant inform us.

2 days later and ironically we are experiencing the same exact thing. We’ve been sitting in this train for way too long! @Amtrak needs to figure this out quick!

Added frustration, I emailed @Amtrak to see how this “delay” will affect trips in the next few days. Not very good at communication. If we knew we would have been 8 hours delayed vs 3 hours, we could have saved on paying - lot of money for the hotel. Very upset!

Extremely disappointed at my experience taking the @Amtrak Auto Train. Saved our driving but their delay has been costly. Supposed to get in at 9:59 AM & won’t get in until 10 PM. Frustrated to have already paid for a night at Disney all to sleep and wake up early to check out.

Netflix has officially premiered The Turnaround, a documentary short about the Phillies fan who helped orchestrate a standing ovation for Trea Turner during his hitting slump in 2023
