@GaloresCircus For me it's "confused". I'd get it if the information had changed that meant COVID was significantly less of a threat and less widespread, but the research is consistently as scary as it's always been.
@1goodtern Now that I've been masking around others for 4 years I see just how crappy a job it did before ๐ It's been amazing not having had a cough since 2019, I had not appreciated before just how often I was forced to a miserable sleep upright due to congestion.
Never admitted I am vax injured. I have #LongCovid - symptoms started before vax'd. I am calling for a 9/11-style review commission on pandemic. Especially with #Birdflu worries, we need to make sure we learn from past
@EE I have to say - this is not helpful in the slightest. What's an obvious next step to you is not necessarily obvious to someone with a different neurotype to you. I expected after clicking "Contact Us" on that page re: #Accessibility discussion to be taken directly to that point.
@EE Can you please make it more obvious/involve fewer steps for vulnerable people to contact you? Once I clicked "contact us" I had no idea what I was supposed to click next, and I don't fancy spending 10 minutes on the EE site this morning trying to find the email address.
@1goodtern It's been fascinating to me to see the people who have accused us of holding ourselves/our children back from experiencing life for so long are missing out on so much of it because they feel too unwell to do the things they want to do so often. We haven't had a cough in 4 years.
Wish it wasn't so hard to find doctors like you in Scotland. Our practitioners are so far behind the times (about 12 years is the oddly specific time frame I keep hearing - from them, even) that every time I ask them to mask I have to explain droplet vs aerosol transmission.
We'll find a dentist for you.
If you need to find a dentist where you can get COVID precautions, send us a list of (5 to 8) website URLs and we'll phone them up. Wins all added to Safe Inside so this benefits the whole community. DM or email lists.
@Ninawildflower I had no idea that younger kids would handle it so easily until I found out (in 2020) that my 6 year old misunderstood some instructions at school and was wearing their mask ALL DAY. Turns out the preschool they had come from was masking 2.5-5 year olds successfully too.
First ever PhD candidacy application down. I wish my first one could have been one that I wasn't as excited about so that I had more time to practise, but also so that it won't be so crushing when it's a "no," but first one is in the can!
@Sandyboots2020 @tacobelluk This might work as a Google review. I definitely check those as a vulnerable person to see if I can expect harassment/issues and I always find it very helpful to get a sense of what the environments fostered in those places are.
Hey @ASU - GET RID OF JONATHAN YUDELMAN. Your tolerating people like him on campus makes me ashamed to admit an affiliation with ASU.

@1goodtern EnvoMask is my "I'm in a tube with 350 other people and no windows". Aura 3M just a general do-er for situations that I'm not expecting trouble but don't want to be caught off-guard/am outside.
(My special occasion is always that I don't want my family to get COVID ๐ )
@MarvinCori Nothing makes me shut down faster than a medical professional who isn't supporting me for shit in managing my family's health, telling me to stop doing what I need to do to support myself and my family.

You were so small in my hands
no shrapnel could hit you,
but the dust and smoke of the bomb
rushed into your lungs.
No need for any gauze.
They just closed your eyes.
No need for any shroud.
You were already
in your swaddle blanket.
