Senator-judge Robin Padilla asking the impeachment court to block witnesses who have *pending* perjury charges is honestly embarrassing.
FYI, an unproven complaint (no conviction yet) is just gossip on paper. It does not disqualify a witness to testify in an impeachment trial. Credibility is tested on the stand through cross-examination, not through an allegation in a separate case.
He also repeated the “32 million ang bumoto sa nasasakdal.” What??? That’s not a defense. The 32M votes is a mandate to serve, not a VIP pass to betray public trust.
Trying to bar key witnesses because of pending perjury cases and hide behind Sara’s 32M votes is so cheap.
SORRY ANG TANGA 😭 telling the prosecution na sana hindi sila bias?? 😅 a senate insider said, hindi na napigilan at nagtawanan ang mga tao at may nagsabing "malamang, prosecution. bobo!" kaya galit na galit si robin padilla! DASURV! hahaha #ImpeachmentTrial#Duterte
To the 26,612,434 people who voted for Robin Padilla, I hope by now you have reconsidered supporting him in any public office in the future.
Our votes have consequences, and we owe it to ourselves and to the country to choose leaders who are truly capable of serving the Filipino people.
‘MAS NAKAKAPAGTAKA KUNG I-DE-DEFEND NAMIN ANG RESPONDENT’
Ito ang tugon ni lead prosecutor Gerville Luistro sa hiling ni Senator-judge Robin Padilla na huwag maging “one-sided” ang prosekusyon.
Sa isang press conference matapos ang trial, sinabi ni Luistro na kung mayroon mang dapat maging neutral, ito ay ang mga senator-judge. #VPonTrial
