Obama is too blind to see that, at the most fundamental level, women have always "been in charge." Like nature, women are the selector.

Women hold the power to decide whether you and, more broadly, society get to reproduce. Men compete for this choice by reducing entropy, taming the chaos, and molding the environment. This labor, this offering, is what reveals our fitness.

The entire point of this Darwinian game is to find the truth by running the simulation and seeing what gets selected. To put the selector in charge is to announce the result before the simulation has run. It's no coincidence that socialism and feminism share this error: both believe selection can be centrally planned.

Men "putting women in charge" is the total abdication of this male responsibility: a refusal to play.

It will never be selected.

@cremieuxrecueil My hypothesis for a while: autism and masculinity share many traits, which both contrast with the feminine ones: systematizing vs. empathizing, low vs. high agreeableness. As society becomes more feminized, the threshold at which those traits get read as pathological drops.

@IterIntellectus Was academia uniquely designed for the pursuit of truth, or was it always just serving the broader cultural values - where truth happened to be at the top? Equality has clearly superseded truth in the western value hierarchy. Expecting academics to become heretics is futile
