Protect the girl child!!! Protect the girl child!!!, nice message but let’s talk about the genesis of the problem. Who are we protecting the girl child from ? From the boy child we refused to raise properly because the same women who birthed a boy child birth a girl child. It’s not like the boy child was uprooted from somewhere or downloaded, why are parents not maintaining the same energy?, “oh boys would be boys” that’s why you exempted them from house chores because of what? Yet women complain their husbands don’t help them at home because you’re raising someone like your husbands gradually. That touts with four missing teeth was once a baby but what changed ? Because no one taught him accountability,responsibility,empathy or manners, women have the power to shape the world so maintain the same energies you use in teaching your daughters so should it be with your sons too. Instead of telling your girl child not to wear this ,tell your boy child to respect boundary cos for how long do we keep protecting the girl child? So let’s address the genesis and not the symptoms.
