@itvMLshow hired a car recently in Italy. They wanted a credit card issued by a real back, not an online only bank , with the numbers embossed on the front of it..not printed on the rear. Who issues such a card now?

@SimonCalder I hired a car in Italy 2 days ago. They would only accept a credit card issued from a bank ( not a virtual one) with the numbers embossed on it, not printed on the back! Once they sold us their insurance they happily took MBNA card with numbers printed on the back.

@santanderuk I'd like to complain about today's visit to one of your branches. The customer in front wanted to open an account. The teller asked name,address, dob, middle names, address. There was no confidentiality - everyone overheard this. Also his holiday plans. Shocking!!!

@JeremyVineOn5 I have friends resident in Italy. Their refuse collection provider has an app, you scan the products bar code...the app recognises the product and it gives you a breakdown of what goes in which bin. Great system Elisa

@BBCBreakfast the card machine providers shld pay the retailer to have terminals as the retailer is encouraging the customer to spend ,they are making money off the interest charged on late payments etc. the retailer looses money on each transaction processed by card payments
