🧬Un perfil metabolómico sérico permite distinguir #cirrosis en pacientes con PSC.
🔍De 484 metabolitos analizados, 16 se asociaron de forma independiente con cirrosis.
🧪Un modelo basado en 6 metabolitos identificó a los pacientes cirróticos con alta precisión (AUROC 0,87 en cohorte de descubrimiento).
🎯La metabolómica apunta a ser una herramienta prometedora para mejorar el 'staging' y la detección de cirrosis en PSC.
🔛A futuro: optimización del modelo y mejor selección de los pacientes, "alcanzaremos un rendimiento superior".
