Things reported at the meeting that had to be thrown out: desks, bulletin boards, whiteboards, cabinets, books, bookcases. Teachers on fb are requesting donations of replacement bookcases b/c they've heard theirs were damaged during remediation, even if they weren't tossed.

He's explaining why there is an increase from his original estimates, and this is the cost for remediation, not replacement of materials. It is still not known what has been thrown out at each school, or what students and teachers will walk into if/when they go to school Monday.

Yesterday we learned that even if schools do open in #alamance county on Monday (2 weeks late) after mold remediation many schools have had all bulletin boards, white boards, and anything porous tossed out. If the library had mold ALL BOOKS WERE TOSSED OUT. #abss #abssmold
