Together with my independent colleagues, I have written to the Home Secretary requesting an urgent meeting in light of the far-right riots.
We must call out this violence for what it is: rampant Islamophobia.
Why do organisations explicitly avoid calling out Islamophobia? Language is important, and avoiding the term is part of the problem. Media rhetoric consistently paints Muslims as the "bad guys". This daily narrative impacts Muslims and contributes to the issues we see today.
@NHS_ELFT anti immigration protests due in Bedford tomorrow! Plenty of staff live and work in Bedford, please speak on this!! Patients as well who live in Bedford!
Feeling very proud of @ISTnhselft1. Within an hour with a doctor were able to go out, assess and create a care and support plan for a person in crisis. Collaborative working with social care and staff teams helped to ensure this person could be supported in the community 👏🏾

Not sure if anyone can help! My brother is turning 16 in September. In order to apply for PIP do we need to wait for him to be 16 or can we begin the application process now? @Autism
RIP 🕊️ HIV/AIDS activist Hydeia Broadbent. Never forget seeing her on the Oprah show that day talking bout it. Doctors said she wouldn’t make it beyond 5yrs old.
Rest with the angels 👼🏾
