I love stories and I have a lot of feelings. So many feelings. Too many feelings, some might say. Do you need some feelings? I have a few to spare. she/her
Because I feel like it needs to be said multiple times a day on Twitter:
Two wrongs don’t make a right.
Bonus tip: You can actually learn from other people’s mistakes. The catch is that you have to be willing to learn.
everyone getting covid in summer 2024 because covid is over and seasonal and getting it again builds your immunity so you won't get it again but you'll definitely get it again this winter and maybe next summer because it's seasonal and over but it'll be fine, honestly, it's fine
This really reads like someone having a little self-aware moment of being like, “yep, made the right choice for me” because she understands that a lot of people WOULD find it cute.
In a shop at Disneyland, Winnie ran up to some ladies & started looking through one of their shopping bags. The ladies giggled. After I collected my runaway child, I heard one go, “This is how I know I shouldn’t have children. I didn’t think that was cute at all.”
At Disneyland.
The thing is, they could’ve kept this and still had Colin join her as soon as the queen left and be like, “I was stunned when I found out too. I already knew she was the cleverest woman in England, but when I think of all she’s been able to accomplish in secret…
ppl wished that colin should've done his speech defending penelope to the ton like he did in the book, but pen standing up for HERSELF on HER OWN is so much better for me
so empowering to watch and it perfectly aligns to penelope asking colin to support her, NOT do things for me
“Now if you’ll please excuse us, I’m going to go give my wife a proper honeymoon. Don’t expect to see us for the rest of the season.”
His friends were talking shit about her all season, and he said nothing. He should’ve given a “my wife is the literal best” speech.
It’s such lazy writing. The ONLY reason Eloise isn’t outright hated as a character is because the actors are the only ones bringing their A-games to this show.
im actually so confused why eloise is so upset about cressida pretending to be whistledown when she said that she is doing it out of desperation of NOT wanting to marry an old man??? cressida isnt after attention she wants to escape her situation..
She spent the whole season being a bad friend to Penelope, while also being a bad friend to Cressida, who she was just using to hurt Penelope. On paper, Eloise is just the *worst* because the writers can’t be bothered to actually think about the characters as people.
It makes me furious that Penelope’s gown in the carriage scene has sequins all over it instead of having her in a material that looks more touchable/sensual. It’s SO DISTRACTING! Like, please walk me through that decision-making process I want to understand. #BRIDGERTON
People roasting Brad Pitt’s performance (by all means, roast Brad Pitt!) but honestly he was pretty dead on for how f*king tedious Louis is in the book😆 It is so clear why Anne Rice was like, “and the rest of the books are about Lestat!”
Brad Pitt apparently wanted Daniel Day-Lewis to star opposite him in "Interview With a Vampire," but Tom Cruise was cast instead. Filmmaker Neil Jordan remembers "the outrage that followed."
“The entire world said, ‘You are miscast.’ He’s a great actor. If [Tom] says he can do something, he will do it in a way that people will be shocked by. Tom has become the last remaining film star. It’s kind of strange.”

It consistently changes storylines from the books in ways that make the main characters less likable, less sympathetic, and just generally shittier as people. Why???
And that’s not even touching how dirty they did Penelope. They should be so damn thankful that it is actually impossible to not immediately adore Nicola Coughlan every time she’s on screen.
