I've been busy over the past few days, focusing on my sequel to "Trapped in County Lines: Missing." I had the opportunity to chat with the dedicated school liaison team and Head of Safeguarding, DS Graeme Wright from @NYorksPolice , at the City of York Safeguarding Children Partnership @YorkSCP . I also had valuable discussions with the @NSPCC team about the crucial role that early intervention education plays in protecting children.

Today is @UNESCO #WorldPoetryDay2025 - I’m sharing the winning poem from my national initiative by Alexandru Cocosila @CadetsWMP @WMPolice. I invited children and young people age 12-21 to write about their understanding or experiences of the complexities of #countylines exploitation. We have showcased the top 40 poems in a book launched today - with any proceeds from sales donated to @NSPCC.
