Gonna mute this, because my brain keeps telling me to check notifications. You guys should be fine from here 👍
If you want to learn about Shorts, I broke down my 30 Mill views in 6 months over here:
https://t.co/rE7mv25CKP
Hardest part about Shorts?
Under 5000 views is YT testing, and saying Viewers didn't engage
View Vs Swipe needs 75% min
Retention Vs Length is 80% of 45 Sec long
Adjust Ret% depending on length
55 Sec with 70% ret, etc
20 sec almost always flop, can't compete on Watch
Streamers, and Creators with Discord servers, seriously... adding a "HoneyPot" was the best thing I ever did for my server.
Spam bots and kids post there, instant ban, all spam gone.
Took 2 seconds using "NadekoBot" and since then mod actions have dropped immensely
@oldmanlux We really need to start linking directly to the artist.

Bortekr isn't a massive YouTuber, and the direct link support is important for someone who makes such awesome content.
@zabka_pawjob I have no clue what that is lmao
You confused me so much, I stared for a long time trying to understand what you were referring too and eventually gave up
@Esrafell@Descry Nope
Real people join server, verify they're real through automod.
Weeks later, they click a dumb link somewhere else, get hacked.
The now hacked account is a bit, posts the spam, Nadeko boots em.
The hacked account isn't going around rejoining servers from that point
@viscool8332 A lot of people do, or they make jokes about being quirky then post there
And then the Bot immediately deletes all the evidence and nobody notices they said anything or are gone
I don't really get the appeal, but some people do it and if it makes them happy, okey dokey hahaha
@Esrafell@Descry It can be perma, its just default as temp. I prefer Temp because I'd say 95% of the time its people who clicked bad links somewhere and lost their account.
If they ever get it back, they can rejoin.
@Jay_Ray_1989TV That doesn't sound like anything other than normal automod, with 3000 members, I can see that working.
However in a server with again, 80,000 members, where image posting is key to the Users joining, locking it behind levels is ineffective.
The rest is just normal.
@Jay_Ray_1989TV I have a sever with 80,000 members
Real people with phones verifywith mod tools, join, and later get their accounts stolen
The Real accounts then spam images with scams in them, but they have slowed message rates, and adjusted attachments to get around auto-mod tools
To answer the comments in one go:
It's a temp ban, they can rejoin 30 secs later if they are a real person
Server has react roles/auto-mod, but Discord accs stolen by scammers are already in, they post images that mod tools can't read
This solves the current wave.

@tasokait@SenzVT @ttvLeonMinamoto Im entirely on Streamerbot pretty much, I don't like being at the mercy of CEO's who are out of touch lmao
OBS Devs and Nate (StreamerBot) I can trust as a creator I won't wake up and be screwed over by weird out of touch choices
@SenzVT @ttvLeonMinamoto @tasokait I don't know, people keep saying this to me as well...
but its still the company who stole tools, locked them behind paywalls, overcharged small streamers by pretending they needed to subscribe for overlays, and then did dodgy practices to not let them cancel... trust is gone
@Jaku@bakuma_vt Side note, I feel CC is a tool that I've always considered a positive additions to the space, and actually understands streamers
Sure, its more niche than alerts, not everyone will need it, but you and the team are valued
Maybe, not helpful right now, but important to say
@Jaku@bakuma_vt Just have to hope, and do what we can, I know I'm cynical but also very optimistic
The same way OBS has continued to be the first choice, and best choice for so long while others rise and fall is evidence that tools putting their community first can be supported to thrive
