Next week, Duncan is shipping a new feature called Base Signal Scanner. It lets you check your Base wallet tier without connecting your wallet directly. Just scan your address and get an estimate of where you stand among early Base users.

After scanning, you’ll see:

• your signal strength score
• your mint, swap, and bridge usage
• how your wallet compares to typical Base users

Onchain data doesn’t lie. This is a simple way to understand where you stand ahead of any possible Base airdrop season, so instead of guessing, you’ll have a clearer picture of your position.

500 GTD WL spots on the Duncan Yap leaderboard will be snapshotted at 00:00 UTC on April 1. At the same time, the 200 GTD WL spots from the X writing event will also be finalized.

The Dunk Loot Box mint will be available for 24 hours only in an Open Edition format, starting at 11:00 AM UTC on April 1 on OpenSea.

Each GTD WL holder is guaranteed a free mint, and will be able to mint up to 7 Dunk Loot Boxes in total during the mint window.

Duncan Yap just got more fun.

We’ve added a few upgrades to make the leaderboard feel more alive:

4. Rank Delta (↑ ↓)
5. Hot Yap of the Day
6. Weekly Mini Leaderboard
7. Realtime score breakdown after each Yap

You can start yapping right now and earn Yap score. Follow the rules and stay consistent to maximize your ranking. The mechanics may continue evolving over time, but this is the first experimental version of the system.

Weekly $Dunk rewards for top Yappers will be distributed through the Duncan Miniapp every Friday.

The Top 500 Yappers will receive guaranteed WL access to mint the Dunk Loot Box, and additional guaranteed WL spots will also be distributed through upcoming community events on Twitter very soon.

Today we’re shipping Duncan Yap v1.

In this first version, there’s no built-in advantage between large and small accounts. Ranking is designed to be fairer and based more on effort, consistency, and relevant keyword content, while interaction signals from Yap posts are included but filtered in a controlled way to avoid large-account advantage.

This is only the starting point. @neynarxyz gives us much more room to expand what Duncan Yap can do, and we’ll keep iterating on the mechanics together with the community as the system scales.
