Could you help me out? I’d love to have 1776 followers by July 4th. I think that would be so cool.
I know I don’t post much, and I’m not interesting. It would be a pity follow, for sure. But much appreciated. 🇺🇸🦅💪🏻
No one cares what Hunter did. What bothered most were the lies from the administration, and the pardon from his Dad days before he left office.
And no one thinks he’s a MAGA whisperer. Maybe dems do, but most just think of him as a “day-at-time” child of a politician.
He’s right about the parties playing the hate and dissent cards. And we’re fools if we fall into it. Balance is key to nearly everything. But thinking Hunter is the solution is also foolish. Calling the card is one thing, playing the game makes you an accomplice to the game.
This is what we get when we fail to teach our young extensive history. I’m no better, I’m just annoyingly curious.
Time, as humans use it, was created to follow the sun. It was set up to follow human’s natural biological clock (circadian rhythm). Before we had “time”, humans slept at night, hunted/gathered/taught our young during daylight hours, and (primarily) rested at night again. I’m simplifying, but you’re capable of researching the details.
As we evolved, we manipulated time to support migration and trade, and wars. We further manipulated time to address personal needs (read political and religious purposes).
And now we want to take one of those manipulations and make it permanent, even if it directly conflicts with our circadian rhythms.
We’ve made a lot of mistakes screwing with time. Let’s not make another. Save Standard Time.
Daylight Saving Time is Orwellian. It doesn’t create more daylight. It forces Americans to wake earlier than Standard Time. Tell Congress to reject the Sunshine Protection Act and make Standard Time permanent for health, safety, and natural sleep. https://t.co/dO5ticlB4z
@elonmusk And being patriotic is not partisan. Anyone who claims celebrating our 250th is political needs to reassess their mental health. Don’t hate, celebrate! 🇺🇸🎉💃🦅
Are all the ads, and most of the post images, created using AI only?
I’m fine with using AI, just don’t lie about it being an authentic scenario or product. You instantly lose credibility and trust.
Again, using AI created content isn’t bad, just be honest about it.
I’ve been using AI to edit documents I write. Love it. It saves me so much time editing it myself. I double check, especially since some scientific terms can remain misspelled. My trick is to tell the AI, Grok, to highlight the changes it’s made. Easier to review long documents. Check those first, read through, make changes if needed, and have the AI remove the highlighting. What usually took hours now is about one hour.
This is not edited by AI, but if it was you’d see a “*edited by Grok” disclosure at the end.
@CoffeeBlackMD@BartonBella1 Now that I’m thinking about it, we could regulate it within trade agreements. Books come to mind, as we have a set price regardless of geography.
I’m not fluent in international trade or marketing pricing, but I bet those who are could figure it out.
@CollinRugg Love the idea of a collectible bill for our 250th anniversary. I even think Trump’s portrait is fine. But… I’d rather see our flag and a bald eagle on it (no Statue of Liberty). I’d like it to be timeless.
@SaveStandard I support standard time, and would want that permanent.
However, we should not market it with sun position, as even the slightest angle from the center of the time zone will affect sun positioning, not to mention rotation and tilt based on time of year.
Let’s be real, she lied, under oath, when she got her citizenship. This is what she had to say, again under oath, when she was naturalized in 2000:
“I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God."
@Cl4rky130@CollinRugg One cannot help the judgement when we see such a violent act between a machine and a person, regardless of fault or circumstance.
@Cl4rky130@CollinRugg You’re absolutely right about this. You’d think, especially in shared airspace, they’d wear hazard orange, or another striking color.
We see similar issues for those of us who dive. Even using a dive buoy isn’t enough for some boaters.
