@claireakennedy_@baublesnbraids It works for all gas stations! The catch: Your "cash back" is a Costco gift certificate that you get once a year. It can only be redeemed at Costco and can't be turned into cash. Great if you do a lot of shopping at Costco, but otherwise not so much.
Today would've been my dad's 80th birthday. He's been gone almost seven months, and it hasn't gotten any easier. He was extraordinary. I miss you, Dad.
@MerriamWebster "The sequence of tenses is the relation between the verb tense in a main clause and the verb tense in a subordinate clause."

I lost my dad in April, and every day I worry when I'll start forgetting things about him β the sound of his voice, his laugh, his hugs. So, @BananaRepublic, this subject line was really hard for me. Marketers, please consider your choice of words in #FathersDay campaigns.
Not like you needed another reason to attend #ForrB2BSummit ... but you REALLY can't miss it now! @Trevornoah + @karaswisher + innovative #B2B content = the hottest virtual conference this year! @forrester
@eabrewster I use "flat out" as an adverb (as in "I am flat-out confused by your friend's weird use of 'flat out'"). To mean super busy, I'd use "out straight." CT/MA
@AdrienneRenaud#Editing, 100%. I've been doing this for 20 years and still find myself having to prove my worth. Many people don't (or don't want to) acknowledge that editing is WAY more than "adding a comma," and a lot of writers think their writing talent precludes the need for an editor.
@fatemehx2 Ooh, I've seen them twice! One of those times, when Weezer was opening, my friends and I didn't have tickets so we hung out with Rivers in the parking lot behind the club and got in on Weezer's guest list. Another fun fact: Ed Kowalczyk lives in the town I just moved out of.
