Great shot of Chief Cox today reading to the kids at Ellendale on Dr. Seuss’ Birthday. Thanks to @BartlettSchools for inviting us again this year. Chief was reading Mr. Brown Can Moo.
Teachers, I've dreamt of taking you and your students with me on my I Survived research trips. And now...join me for a free virtual field trip 11/10! 1:00ET/10amPT (and available to stream later)
We've read the reviews and counted the points and these students and classes came out on top for the month! We're so proud of all classes "paws"-ing to read every day this year! @EllendaleSchool@EllendaleThird@Ellendale4th
I read this book 36 years ago, but I still remember “the truth about Stacey” and get a pang in my chest upon seeing the cover. Middle grade books matter. I’m excited these non-graphic novel versions are circulating again suddenly.

2022-23's 1st book review winner @EllendaleSchool gave Dog Man Grime and Punishment 4.5 stars. Dog Man's his favorite character & he loves the illustrations but didn't think this book was Pilkey's best written. He prefers Mothering Heights! E is holding his reward: another book!
Happy New Year! We're starting every day by 'Paws'-ing to read here @EllendaleSchool. I was so happy to welcome students for our first morning circulation yesterday so they could be ready to settle down and read in their homerooms!
@nikkigrimes9 Your poems and novels-in-verse are a favorite among our 3rd-5th graders! I can't wait to check out these new books for our younger readers :)
What a wonderful day of community guest readers @EllendaleSchool for Read Across America. Students were very engaged. Thankful to our guest. More coming tomorrow. @MichelleSBardos@EllendaleLib
Day 1 of our annual #ReadAcrossAmerica book giveaway! I spend the week before working with students on a reading plan and then surprise as many as I can with their “next read.”
