Hi everybody. We’re 30+ members of the Paizo staff, and today we’re announcing that we have formed the United Paizo Workers, one of the first unions of its kind in the tabletop game industry.

@AtomicOvermind I still have to live, and if I can't get medical care we have no choice but to leave. I have a queer and mixed family. Staying is less safe for some than others.
@awelfle @IndianaGeeking We left California because unless you live in a few very select (and ultra rich) areas it's super red. Go to a properly liberal state like Oregon or Colorado if you want a liberal home. CA ain't it.
@BonhomiegamesUK @thedicemechanic Two goddesses, both about creation and coming together. Both about healing, but one gets actually called a demon in some texts and the other gets saintly white robes and declared that no one would dare touch her in battle.
The only difference is one of them is sexual.
#Glorantha hot take nobody asked for: the Uleria and Chalana Arroy devide is just a repetition of modern Madonna/Whore complexes and the two goddesses should actually be one or otherwise paired. There is no harmony without love or love without harmony.
@BonhomiegamesUK @thedicemechanic Fear of female sexuality (and its ability to control men) has led to its isolation from all other aspects of feminity. "Good" women aren't supposed to be sexy, and if they are, they aren't supposed to know they are. It's led to some real awkward cultural baggage like these two.
@BonhomiegamesUK @thedicemechanic I've been thinking about this. The idea of goddess trinity is part of our earthly culture so may not actually fit. Death also came late to the game in Glorantha. If there is a third then perhaps Asralia who was the longing lover who became mother then grandmother. I ❤ TKT though
"My man the preacher Jan Milíč of Kroměříž warned his audiences that during the Apocalypse Jezebel would return leading an army of painted women who would help to dismantle the world with their sexy sexy ways."
