YouTube is openly lying about its AI moderation “working normally”

Over the last few months, we've seen THOUSANDS of posts trending on X, claiming wrongful channel terminations. The vast majority of creators got their channels back only after their posts went VIRAL.

This shows a SEVERE issues with the content moderation system.

On the rare occasion I speak to a human at YouTube they always ask me questions like why I use twitter to interact with my audience over the community tab, why I don’t push memberships (I’d use Patreon instead if I were to do a membership thing), and why I don’t post shorts/stream on there. Basically asking why I don’t put all my eggs in one basket. It’s because of stuff like this.

AI is way too prone to mistakes to be the final decider if someone should be banned from the platform, YouTube have to be less reliant on it, I feel like I’m not the only person on the platform slowly losing trust in it. It’s hard not to when you see so many people get banned for absolutely no reason other than an AI thought they should be.

This man says he paid at Home Depot and his change was supposed to be $10.51… but the cashier tried handing him $10.50.

Translation:
Home Depot keeps the leftover money - not the customer.

He pushed back, demanded a manager, and after a whole argument they finally handed him a nickel just to make him leave.

His line says it all:

“You don’t keep my money.

You round UP.”

There are still hundreds of millions of pennies in circulation. There is zero excuse for rounding down except one:

They know most people won’t notice.

And if that happens across thousands of transactions a day?

That’s not a “penny issue.”
That’s a corporate skim.

One of the guys in my network of veterans was a guy who received burns/wounds on 60% of his body. The military would only give him 50% medical disability despite the facts. His wife ended up divorcing him because of how he looked. He ended up plummeting into alcoholism. He basically disappeared a few years ago and I at times worry the worst happened with him. The worst part is, these aren’t isolated incidents, there’s so many like this. Even worse that people on both sides of the political fence also hate them for different by equally stupid reasons.
