-there are often more language options for captions, and sometimes even audio description.
Ok, I also have selfish reasons for loving DVDs, because my films are on them. Allow me a shameless plug 😄 bc there's such a good sale thru 5/31 @newdayfilms https://t.co/92RQgNmvyh. 3/3
Unpopular opinion - I still buy, use, and love DVDs. Here's why.
-No pw. One less thing to remember.
-no subscription. You pay for it once, then it's yours. (& you're not subject to the whims & needs of a streaming service, which could remove that title, or even censor it.) 1/3
-Sure, most younger people don't have DVD players. But a lot of them have Playstations, which can, guess what, play DVDs!
-For film people - screeners are often on DVDs.
-call me a dork, but I love the special features! 2/3

Attended the opening night in NYC and met lovely people and saw a great film: UNIDENTIFIED OBJECTS (which has 100% on Rotten Tomatoes right now) https://t.co/N0gqOGOkoc
Who else caught #DarkDisabledStories? It was so brilliant. And I loved how access was built into the design and world of the show.
May this production inspire many more to incorporate accessibility into the production design and script!
