"Royal Navy’s experimental vessel, XV Patrick Blackett, has been conducting trials in UK waters off Portland, testing Marine AI's "GUARDIAN" artificial intelligence software for navigation, autonomy"
For now "augmenting" human control, but a step towards Patrick going crewless.

@geoallison Were you able to observe any "new technologies" being tested or integrated into operations? I think drones were referenced explicitly by NATO HQ, but I'd suspect that would encompass USVs and UUVs alongside aerial systems.
Have you ever wondered what it is like to leave HMNB Devonport and out to sea? 🌊 ⚓️
Hopefully this gives you an idea as The Fighting Clan proceeds past Devil's Point, around Drake's Island, in front of the Hoe and out to the Break water!
A huge team effort! BZ

Achilles is a great name. Less upsetting for the French🙂
What is the fastest route from Helsinki to Tokyo? Flights AY61 and AY73 flew in completely different directions from Helsinki, but both are approaching Tokyo with similar flight times.
@nick_cat7@WilliamsSupport@g4vyn I agree, and it feels like a now or never moment. But from reading responses online, the drivers definitely have the backing of fans on this one, so momentum is in their favour.
@nick_cat7@WilliamsSupport@g4vyn That's the other thing, all this coming into fruition whilst the drivers and teams are spread more widely apart than they are at any other time during the season. Very convenient.
@WilliamsSupport@g4vyn Remind you of anything else? *Cough* stewarding *cough*
This will be the VAR of F1 and the inevitable inconsistencies will aggravate the fans so much as the drivers. Yes, be courteous and professional. But expressing emotion or showing you're human shouldn't be penalised.
