Focus of today- how to make recipes more nutritious. By adding vegetable toppings we added extra vitamins into the diet. We also used low-fat mozzarella and spoke about the difference in fat content between thick wedges and fries.
Spicy ‘Beef’ Burrito🌯
N5 Health and Food Technology were investigating alternative sources of protein this week. Today they made burritos using Quorn mince instead of beef. We also added LBV sources including kidney beans and rice.
A first time trying Quorn for many!
