@FarzaTV We're building something similar! We're currently iterating through our MVP app but always wanted to build a hardware version of it.
Limiting screen time and being able to carry a piece of hardware around that's not a phone with full internet access is the goal.
@DarrelFrater Highly recommend setting up a fellowship program. We've been receiving a crazy amount of applications at OrangeDAO. A lot of first time founders who want to work on their ideas full-time came to us. The demographic seems very similar to those that you support.
@DarrelFrater Competitors. Itβs like property management companies showing bias rent comps of an area to a landlord so that they agree to lower their rent.
@heyandrewc Congrats Andrew!
I'm a YC alumni with a few startup experiences. I'm currently trying to start a media outlet to share knowledge in the web 3.0 space and hopefully start a project that provides actual utility with the tech. If anyone is interested, let's connect!
@joeDmarti @sangeet_kar @jspujji Been having hard talks with co-founders since we're trying to pivot into a Web 3.0 project. One of our co-founder actually stated that being a tech dev for so long he finds that he lacks the mindset to tackle a broader project and fears that he can only play a supporting role.
@reidhoffman 100% agree with the statement. I would love for everything to be planned out before starting but most of the times you are just trying to figure things out on the fly. It does create chaos but I think the ability to manage chaos is something that founders are great at.
@tanayj As a YC alumni, I do think the YC community and team are doing a great job. They're also continuously designing more ways to help out portfolio companies like a recently announced $380,000 MFN funding on top of the original package.
