This week I have had the honor & privilege to begin my 20th summer traveling to various states as a member of the national #WorldMusicDrumming faculty, meeting & working with music teachers from all over the country for these weeklong sessions - starting in Oklahoma City! 🎶

We had a fun day celebrating a big birthday with @EllsworthPhysEd! We are so thankful to have a colleague with such kind and positive energy, and the students are certainly fortunate to get to learn from such an outstanding educator!

I notice my colleagues as they describe what they lead students to do for Mother’s Day gifts. My favorite gifts are the ones my daughter has made at her school! I am so appreciative for homeroom/art teachers everywhere spending so much energy making the occasion special for moms!

Wow!!! Congratulations to the EWIS 3rd grade musicians and @gyurkyr for the amazing musical performance today! So much preparation, planning and talent went into these performances. What a treat to see my former 2nd graders continue to grow into such fabulous musicians! 🎶
