Senator representing Kano South, Abdulrahman Kawu Sumaila (APC), has strongly criticised APC members who believe they can use money, power, or influence to win the 2027 election.

He noted that in 2015, despite having all the power, money and influence at his disposal, Goodluck Jonathan was rejected by Nigerians. Similarly, former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s attempt to secure a third term was stopped.

He therefore urged APC members to stop provoking Nigerians with threats that Tinubu or the APC must return to power in 2027.
