It doesn’t matter who the player is. But when retirement information (if true) comes out through leaks and “official source” citations, I feel for the player involved.

For someone who gave it their all for the team, it’s just not appreciable on the part of journalists/officials’ to leak their news just like that. It’s possible that whatever news is going round, might just be yet another nonsense piece of news, but a player as good as him doesn’t deserve to go this way.

He should be the one breaking out that news to the fans in the manner he wants to.
