@ChipotleTweets can you clarify if you get 1 meat, plus 2 sides. Or 2 sides total on the kids build your own tacos. Different locations seem to have different rules 🧐
@imadethis4J201 In my discussion someone gave the idea that if they could add some sort of subgroups with in the platform to help people find even more connections and sense of place that could help with duration usage purposes #uwj201
@canhalt2 One that pops into my head are the Chevy commercials where they bring in “real people” to review the cars and talk about how much they like them. I think this is central persuasion because they give people more details and have them connect to the people in the commercial #uwj201
In the article “The New World of Marketing Communication” the Apple “1984” commercial that aired during Super Bowl XVIII is talked about as being “one of the most talked about and remember commercials ever made” what is one ad that resistances with you in a similar sense #uwj201
Do you think that what companies like Rubicon do when they sell your ad spaces on internet sites and social media is an invasion of privacy or is it okay since they use anonymous labeling when selling it to companies? #uwj201
@DernCharlie This was probably tested and throughly thought out by analysts and specialists and Nike must have decided that they could make up for the loss of profits with the gain in profits they got from people supporting the campaign and potentially spending extra because of it#uwj201
@KopchaCassie I think having a balance is important because then it can tap into the different needs or different viewers of the ad. Having a balance can make it so more that one person can have more of an effect from the ad. #uwj201
In the reading “You Break It, You Buy It:The Naïveté of Social Engineering In Technology and How to Fix It” the author suggests curriculum changes for “computer” type majors to become more aware of social science, do you think this would be helpful in creation of apps? #uwj201
@jjehawk37 I think that this is something that is being figure out, that is discussed in one of the readings for this week, bringing social scientists into the design room of social media networks could help to better predict the effects on society #uwj201
@SammieJ90967857 I think that where I am from I have a pretty high density network but my network at school is smaller and less dense. I think that the low density of my network at school is something that I hope to increase because I think that it could benefit my political outlook #uwj201
How much do you think positive or negative news effects your opinions on a candidate right before the election? This is the time when journalists try and remain neutral but do yo think seeing a positive or negative would sway you at that point in the campaign? #uwj201
@Landon17226425@DernCharlie @ATveleneva This is a super interesting observation! Though this can be miss leading the people that are invested in these topics are going to be the ones that click on and read the article anyways, yes it is clickbate, I think the reader would still obtain the information they need #uwj201
@taraodonnellm I think Facebook should want to give it’s viewers correct information, I think it is unethical that that they are willing to allow false information be spread on their platform. Facebook should be accountable for the lies in the ads #uwj201
Do you think the increase of hybrid news has made it more difficult to be skeptical of journalism and asses the type of information to the fullest of your ability? #uwj201
@elnewton77 New technology and high speed spread information definitely makes it more important that us as consumers do our own research since the journalist might not be getting correct information and news/information can more easily be broadcasted if it is fake #uwj201
