We explored the role of active commuting to school among adolescents in Yaoundé.
We found that while walking & cycling contribute to daily physical activity but barriers e.g. poor infrastructure & socioeconomic disparities must be addressed.

Earlier today, Pr. Amougou Joseph, launched the second scientific day on Environmental Health on topics like climate variability, causes and consequences of climate change, its impact on human health. Let's empower ourselves with knowledge to combat this pressing issue together.
Dr @Nkem_Kembe discussed the critical link between air quality and health using the Alpha Project as an example. He added leveraging the AirQo project data to drive action and protect our communities from the harmful effects of climate change. Together, we can make a difference.
Prof Kamgno advocated for implementing warning systems, identifying the most vulnerable populations, and measuring the impacts of climate change on health. Let's reflect on these points to pave the way for future research and create a healthier, more resilient world together.
