@TomTeeLegend Yeah im sure it is, the lack of DCC is whats interesting me. Im curious if its possible to rig up on dc in something as small as a Thomas shell but I dont have the electrical know-how to try it haha
The steam effects will be cool to see on a ready to run model (it would be cool to be able to buy them as units to be fitted afterwards too) but didnt we see a sample of this new set at an exhibition recently which let the cat out of the bag? I cant find it for the life of me now
Is this the only set of points on a Skarloey Railway set in Series 4?
For a long time I thought they just didn't have any narrow gauge points is S4 but guess I'm wrong. I can't think of any other examples tho
I was at the wrong end of the platform to see it depart but the train treated us to some whistles and I had a nice chat with some fellow enthusiasts including one who had taken a detour from work to see it leave!
I ran to catch up with it on my way home but thought I missed it at my station, turns out I was wrong! I might see if I can go see it depart on my way home too...
Has anyone given their N scale Bachmann models a gloss clear coat? I'm tempted to try it but I want to know what it would look like first as I don't want to ruin the finish they already have
Why is the lining on the Bachmann Thomas stuff so fragile? I slid my nail across it to experiment, and it came off like a dry erase marker. I intentionally SCRATCHED a Mattel AEG for a few minutes, and had absolutely no affect. Wish theyβd address this.
I've recently uploaded an N Scale version of my snowplough model to Shapeways, which fits the new Bachmann Thomas and Percy!
