@QPark_UK Useless service at Bristol Harbour side with only one working machine and poster saying a Machine on level 3 - no there is not! Extra money generated as you drive round and round
@CarolineCoramUK @IrishIceSP @chinnychick Our ability to gain positive rewards and enjoy our normal activities. Therapy needs to focus on helping you achieve your goals, in a therapeutic relationship that is respectful and compassionate
@CarolineCoramUK @IrishIceSP @chinnychick Diagnoses are useful to ensure that people receive evidence based care in line with NICE, can include medication, specific therapy eg EMDR for PTSD. Prolonged symptoms of PTSD are associated with developing depression, as is Complex pain; because both PTSD and pain restrict
@treesey@patriciavalkei1 Reform is led by a man who praises Andrew Tait, candidates who make disgraceful comments about women - so no one with any concept of equality, decency or cares about the NHS, education, our children’s future or the economy, etc, etc, should vote for them
@DrBenLovell For patients going through Radiotherapy for head and neck tumours, we use intensive EMDR to manage the Claustrophobia and allow them to get through treatment.
@drphilhammond@ManleyJoanna@DrCParker Excellent article, so much work to do on patient safety, raising concerns takes staff to be confident, well supported by leaders, listened to and heard, leading to action - sadly they often get the label of “difficult” and then marginalised and bullied
@ProfDonnaHall@IanMWelsh Not only the time spent writing them but then having to reformat to a new template! - no evidence this improves quality . Effective and compassionate leadership improves outcomes for patients and staff
@BBCr4today @surashsurash @ManleyJoanna conversations with politicians on this programme about migration, offensive, disrespectful to valued workers-we need migration as post Brexit great EU NHS staff left & sadly many newly qualified staff leaving 2 work abroad due to govt policy
@MrBrendanCox@jessphillips A great loss for Women and the front bench, but standing up for ones Principles is a difficult path - a resignation letter to be proud of in contrast to that of the ex Home Secretary who has sought to increase division and undermine Public servants
@nick_grundy@AlkadhiO @A03580132276 @veggieequallife@RooDoherty@markr1004 @PenfoldJohanna Few Staff have confidence in raising concerns through the ‘correct’ channels - if they do they are often not heard, or acted upon and the individual is bullied, marginalised and considered difficult!
This is not about kindness - patients and staff come to harm from these actions
