We are still basking in the glow of last Friday's book launch. A huge thank you to our community for coming out and supporting us.
Need a copy? @greyfriars_kirk has you covered. (Or ask us nicely if you're local.) Further afield? We're working on it!
It is not the purpose of BBS to weigh in on constitutional matters but I do aim to improve understanding of Scottish Politics. David Frost, in suggesting that because there is a (slender) majority against Independence, devolution should be rolled back shows lack of understanding.
He also conveniently forgets to mention Northern Ireland entirelyyyy. Which is notable because the devolved institutions in Northern Ireland are absolutely essential to the peace process.
Does David Frost remember we held referendums to assess the public's support for devolved institutions? It's antidemocratic to call for the rolling back of devolution just because you don't like the governments elected to run those devolved institutions.
My @Telegraph column tonight.
The SNPโs implosion is a chance to put failing devolution into reverse.
"In its misgovernment and its control-freakery, the SNP has sown the wind and, let us hope, will now reap the political whirlwind."

This will make it more expensive for people in tenements with on street parking (who are reliant on public charging infrastructure) to have an electric car vs a petrol equivalent. By making this decision, @Edinburgh_CC are actively discouraging people from switching to EVs.
This seems totally counter-intuitive both to overall net zero goals, and also for a city actively trying to improve air quality by introducing an LEZ. Not everyone who owns, or wants to own, an EV lives in a suburb with a private charger and a cheap electricity tariff.
