TikTok just released a transparent update on their algorithm.

90% of videos with over 1M views are longer than 60 seconds

TikTok has been very clear they are pushing longer content with their new creator program only paying out 60 second+ videos as well

“But my content that is shorter does better than my longer ones”

Yep. It’s easy to get a few thousand views with a short snappy video and it’s really really hard to keep the attention of viewers for 60 seconds.

But if you want to grow with these platforms and you want to get paid you need to learn how to master this type of content. The literal payout will be huge
