@camcycle @Sustrans @EastCambs The Sustrans remit was to look at connections between Ely and adjacent villages and towns (Soham, Littleport, Lt Downham, Stuntney...).
It would be a valuable addition to look at traffic movement, including cycling, within Ely.

@camcycle Lynn Road is the most important Ely route for cyclists that needs to be developed.

It's time that politicians of all parties worked together on a holistic vision for cycling in Ely with a plan for how to achieve it. @Sustrans' feasibility study for @EastCambs looked at the broader city and included suggestions such as making parts of Lynn Road one-way.

This is NOT the message we need to see in our region, where developments should be improving facilities for people walking & cycling rather than adding additional pressures.
