We’re at the #RotaryPeaceConference, and @XavierRamey is kicking off the day. We’ll hear a truth that is challenging and convicting for the fragilities we possess but ultimately inspiring for a future of justice and joy, peace and shalom.

@waccelyria @WalmartOrg Too cool for school, WACC! And well done on the grant proposal. Keep us posted. We may seek your wisdom about how Rotary can partner with @WalmartOrg. Cool if we meet at your place?

[Elyria Rotary Club @ElyriaRotary]

Thank you for hosting us! Good luck with the grant. We’re cheering for you and celebrating your imagination for things that are yet to come.

Our building is becoming a hub for creating community! We’re ecstatic that Elyria Community Partnership and @ElyriaRotary are meeting here. We’ve submitted a #communitygrant proposal to @WalmartOrg that will help us expand hybrid setups for organizing, teaching, and connecting.

Guess what we did today? Members met at Golden Acres and recovered life-saving medical equipment to send to people in need. This work is true, and it matters. #MESA Medical Equipment and Supplies Abroad @District6600 @Rotary for more info see: https://t.co/9Nvq2RAib4

Thank you, Dr. Conley, and congratulations on receiving your well-deserved accolades. May we follow your and Dr. King’s example of bending the long arc of the moral universe toward justice.

For 34 years, Elyria Rotary Club member Dr. LaTaunya V. Conley has led the Elyria Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission. Her work in Elyria and Lorain County is an example of service beyond self.

The power may be out, but this meeting is power-packed with @PresBallinger of @lorainccc.
