Unserious ideas that have no place in the Democratic party:
-Communism
-Actual socialism (not just when the government does stuff)
-Abolishing police/borders/prisons
-Support or apologia for terrorist groups such as Hamas
-Banning data centers
-Conspiracies
-Antisemitism
If a black lesbian soldier had texted the exact time we were planning to bomb Yemen to a woke anti-Trump reporter, what do you think @PeteHegseth would be calling for today?
There is no moral or legal equivalence between the deliberate kidnapping and slaughter of a mother and her two infant children and the unintentional killing of civilians being used as human shields in an active war zone with a genocidal terrorist group.
None.
The cold-blooded murder of an infant is as barbaric a crime against humanity as one can commit. Hamas has murdered the Bibas family, including Kfir who was only 9-months old at the time of his abduction.
A terrorist organization that murders babies in cold blood cannot be allowed to stand. Hamas must be removed from power and eradicated from the face of the earth.
friendly reminder that the best case scenario over the coming years is that a lot of people say "I supported Trump but this isn't what I wanted at all" and when they do that it's gonna be really, really important that we say "welcome in," not "fuck you, we told you so"
Trump still has the sauce. No one else could have made picks like these. Every selection is like drafting a kicker in the first round but the kicker has a Wikipedia section titled Allegations and is also not really a kicker
@sfchronicle This is a bad take. And I like Newsom. But middle America despises him as well as California's policies. He will not translate to a national election.
Donald Trump has no greater friend than the far left, which has managed to alienate historic numbers of Latinos, Blacks, Asians, and Jews from the Democratic Party with absurdities like “Defund the Police” or “From the River to the Sea” or “Latinx.”
There is more to lose than there is to gain politically from pandering to a far left that is more representative of Twitter, Twitch, and TikTok than it is of the real world. The working class is not buying the ivory-towered nonsense that the far left is selling.
