The accusation that I am antisemitic is appalling and fundamentally dishonest. Comunicado Oficial de Cyberleek, el grupo detrás de la nueva filtración de GTA VI donde exigen el cumplimiento de los siguientes puntos:

PUNTO 1:

Ningún consumidor deberá pagar por un juego a través de tiendas digitales antes de su lanzamiento y de que existan análisis independientes. Las preventas físicas de medios tangibles seguirán estando permitidas.

Las preventas no fueron creadas para los jugadores. Se crearon porque los discos físicos tenían límites de fabricación. En la distribución digital no hay inventario. No hay escasez de existencias. Una copia digital no puede agotarse. Sin embargo, las editoras mantuvieron el sistema de preventa y eliminaron su único beneficio para el consumidor. Ahora los jugadores pagan por adelantado y no reciben nada a cambio, excepto un temporizador de cuenta atrás y una apariencia cosmética.

Si las editoras quieren obtener ingresos antes del lanzamiento, pueden fabricar discos. Imprimir cajas. Ponerlos en las estanterías. Ganar ese dinero mediante la producción física.

PUNTO 2:

Ninguna editora deberá vender acceso a contenido para un jugador que ya esté presente en los archivos del juego base que el consumidor ha comprado.

Esto significa: no a las claves de desbloqueo, no a archivos de marcador de posición de 1 MB, no a cambiar una variable de bloqueado a desbloqueado para contenido que ya está en el disco o en la descarga.

Cuando alguien paga más de 70 USD por un juego, ha comprado los datos. Todos ellos. Venderles un archivo que cambia de locked = true a locked = false para una misión, personaje, arma o capítulo de la historia para un jugador significa cobrarles dos veces por el mismo producto.

PUNTO 3:

Cualquier juego que incluya contenido para un jugador deberá incluir un estado alternativo sin conexión. Cuando finalice el soporte del servidor, la editora deberá publicar un parche final que desbloquee todo el contenido para un jugador para su uso local e indefinido.

The Crew tenía una campaña para un jugador. La gente pagó el precio completo. Después, Ubisoft cerró los servidores y todo el juego murió, incluido el contenido para un jugador. Sin reembolsos. Sin parche. Sin alternativa.

El contenido para un jugador depende de una única cosa: el hardware que el consumidor ya posee. Hacer que muera cuando los servidores desaparecen es un robo.

Estos tres puntos son el suelo, no el techo, de lo que resulta aceptable. Si las editoras los incumplen, serán señaladas.

CYBERLEEK seguirá interrumpiendo sus operaciones hasta que emitan una declaración pública y una disculpa con un compromiso concreto para reparar el daño que han causado.

No habrá negociaciones privadas. No habrá acuerdos silenciosos. El público lo verá, o los «leaks» no se detendrán.

Las editoras deberían tener cuidado. Si CYBERLEEK puede llegar hasta Rockstar, nadie está a salvo.

Este es un mensaje para todas las grandes corporaciones: comportaos o seréis el próximo objetivo.
